Education and experience:
A freelance writer and teacher with more than 25 years of experience, Charlotte is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y. where she earned her degree in English and Journalism with a minor in Fine Arts. Charlotte was an English adjunct at Jefferson Community College, a news and feature writer for the Watertown Daily Times, and feature writer and editor for the Thousand Islands Sun.
She also participated in the New York State Prison Poetry Project, taught English to U.S. Army stationed soldiers on Fort Drum, and scored SATs for Pearson Education before moving to Miami.
Charlotte has worked as news and feature writer for The Islander News and Island Life magazine, Metro Miami and Nocturno. She is a certified English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor, and taught ESL classes for Language ON.
